History

InfoStat is statistical analysis software developed by a team of professional statisticians based at the National University of Córdoba, Argentine. InfoStat represents a synthesis of the experience gained since 1982 in the Computing Unit and the Departments of Statistics and Experimental Design of the Agricultural College. That experience has been enriched by the work of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, statistical consulting, human resource training in applied statistics and the development of research projects and collaboration with other groups and institutions.

The first version of InfoStat was released in 1998. Today, we are proud of the level of acceptance that the software has in the universities and in scientific and technological research institutions of Latinamerica.

In 2008, InfoStat linked to the R programming environment expanding the potential productivity of the software.
